Here ya go....

At the request of a Mr. BBBB,here it is. I read what he wrote so I'm gonna do everything I can to explain the blood spec I have, how I play, and how it works for me. Remember, I am by no means an expert, and have never claimed to be one. Feel free to tear this apart as much as you like, but please be constructive when you do so.

That said, I have been able to solo every group quest so far in outlands except Overlord.

The Death Knight Blood talent tree explained, and points invested, in terms of strictly SOLO LEVELING goodness. I do not give a good goddamn about a raid spec, about investing in points for raiding, or what the leet choices are for raiding. If it ain’t designed to let me solo on my own and be the best that I can be, it’s not what I’m looking for.
Tier 1:
  • 2 points in Butchery for the 20 runic power for each kill. The 2rp/5 is ok, but not vital.
  • 3 points in Subversion because Blade Barrier isn't that great, and we need tier 2.
Tier 2:
Tier 3:
Tier 4:
  • 3 points in Improved Rune Tap because this not only doubles the healing you get from Rune Tap, but it also halves the cooldown.
  • 3 points in Vendetta because being healed for 6% of your hp each time you kill a mob is wonderful, especially when you are taking on 5-6 mobs at once.
Tier 5:
  • 3 points into Veteran of the Third War is nice. You could get Bloody Strikes instead for the increased damage, I just prefer the stats, especially since alot of Blood's healing is percent based.
  • Get Mark of Blood. Useful when you are fighting several mobs at once.
Tier 6:
Tier 7:
  • 3 points into Blood Worms for the passive healing they give.
  • 2 points into Blood Aura for even more healing. I skipped Hysteria because we're flying solo.
Tier 8:
  • Take Vampiric Blood because it affects EVERYTHING that you heal yourself with, and it's a free last stand.
  • 4 points into Sudden Doom because free Deathcoils that always crit are nice, and we need to get to the next tier.
Tier 9:
  • Take Heart Strike. This is the bread and butter of your dps. Skip the other talents for now, since you are just at 58, and the next one is better.
Tier 10:
  • 4 points into Blood Gorged because you will almost always be above 75% health, and the expertise helps a ton.
That covers your talents up to 58. A couple things I would like to note.

Dancing Rune Weapon can proc bloodworms.
Also, this build is built for solo'ing. I know there are talents in the tree that would give more dps, but this is just for starting out at 58.

Next on the list.

The Death Knight solo Blood spec DPS rotation, or how things feed into each other for best synergy. I have what I think I’ve worked out, here is your chance to make me good “oopps, didn’t even see that.”
Open with Plague Strike, then Icy Touch, Heart Strike twice, then Death Strike and dump your RP into Death Coils. Rinse, repeat.

Finally,

An explanation for what, exactly, is a Death Rune, and how it applied to Blood.
A Death Rune is any color rune you want it to be. Once this rune activates, you are able to use it for any ability you want, and in the case of blood, it's going to be for more Heart Strikes, or you can use them to heal yourself if you are about to die....which hardly ever happens. I end almost every fight with full health and RP.

Hope you found this helpful.

Huzzah...

Maintenance on a Friday....just what I wanted.

Ok, not really.

Friday is one of the two days that I can really sit down and play, I'm only off Thursday and Friday of each week.

Oh well, guess I can always watch a movie. It's been a while since I've seen a good one.

Wow...

Hit level 60, ran Ramparts, and got a new toy all in one fell swoop.

I'm pretty happy with this toon.

I'm a little worried that blood may be overpowered in terms of survivability though. Taking on 5 equal level mobs and ending the fight with full health and RP is kinda OP..

...just a lil..

Ya know...

After being in the DK starting zone for less than 8 minutes and seeing four variations of Hordekiller, I wonder if this server is such a bright idea after all.

I hope it changes when I get out of this place and into Hellfire.

So It Begins

Well, here I am.

I finally gave in and made a death knight. I figured I could talk about it in my off time, so here it is.

His name is Ecks, on the server Drenden. I'll see how this goes, and tell you about it along the way.
